Service Style

We seek to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through music, prayer, scripture reading, giving, and Biblical teaching. Each service has a slightly different flavor, but all are designed to direct our attention away from ourselves and to our great God and Creator.

Supported by a variety of instrumentalists and vocalists, our worship leader focuses our hearts and minds on God through the singing of contemporary songs and hymns along with some of the great hymns from past generations. We believe that it is important that our teaching as well as the song lyrics we sing both have a solid Biblical foundation.

Sunday morning service

Sunday morning services normally include about 30-40 minutes of worship through music, scripture reading, giving, and prayer followed by an 30-40 minute teaching time. The time of teaching by Pastor Conrad is almost always part of an on-going series through a particular book or extended passage of the Bible, with a series lasting from several weeks to months. His sermons and lessons are usually “expository”, which really just means he moves methodically through each passage, explaining the meaning and application.

Sunday evening service

Sunday evening services are similar to the morning service though a little more informal, with a shorter time of music and often an extended time of prayer with the church family.

Wednesday evening service

Wednesday evenings services have a more informal teaching time with opportunities for group interaction and extended small group prayer.
